You're covered by the app gallery, which isn't quite as well-stocked as the Google Play Store.
Despite this, things are improving. With each passing month, and if there isn't any Are there any apps
that you can't locate on the app store? Whatsapp, for example, has an app gallery. For example,
all you have to do is type it. This will assist with the petal search. You must locate the apk file
in order to install it. Uh, that app on the Huawei P50 pocket device either on a platform like
apk pure Or else, go straight to the source. You may get iplayer from the app's website.prime video
audible Everything wonderful I've also installed things like Fans of Google's own apps, such as
Gmail and YouTube, will have to use the quick app service instead, which essentially loads these services in a browser window. It's a little messy and not quite as good as the dedicated apps, and with some Google apps, such as Google Podcasts, I simply could not get them to work.Of course, the actual
UI is pretty similar in style and everything to Google's Android, so flick this where you've got the today window, which basically serves up a whole lot of widgets, and then you've got your typical.
Here's a news feed If you keep flicking, you'll get an apps tray for storing all of your apps so they're
not scattered all over your desktops, a notifications window that you can drag down like this, and the control center, which is similar to the control center on iOS and also in Xiaomi's own Miui launcher for setting up lots of quick access shortcuts. If you go into the settings menu, you'll find a lot of
customization options, like going into home. There's a lot you can do with the external screen and
wallpaper, and there's a lot you can do with the icons and wallpaper here, as well as the always on display (which Huawei's always on display settings are fantastic).
There are some really slick designs in there, and everything is highly customizable as well. Of course, some of them are super super cheesy, but at least you can edit them to make something a little more appropriate, and yes, you can fully customize that exterior screen as well and get it set up exactly how you want. There are a variety of themes that you can choose from for that screen, and they range from the sort of artistic to fit the premium edition to the standard edition to the standard edition. This UFO effort you've made is insane.I also have a selection of animated characters. Why include an alpaca in the cast?
Wouldn't you rather he chose that? Yes, you appear to be a happy little fella. There's a chance you'll
see some beaver action there.Personally, I would rather just set my alarm clock. To be honest,
you can make your own wallpaper. So make a separate wallpaper for the external screen so you
can change the primary wallpaper. Set it up in whatever way you like, with photographs if you want.
I see that you've downloaded photos from the internet. You've put whatever you want on the camera, so I decided to go for a bright look.On the Huawei P50, there's a "Genesis" theme.when the huawei p50 pocket is completely folded up,Pretty handy just for quickly checking your notifications. You can
just drag down like so you can see the time and date. Of course, you've got access to a small selection of widgets as well, including checking on the weather report, seeing what your schedule is all about,
you can quickly access that camera, which we'll touch on in a minute, and you've got fast access to your media controls by the likes of deezer or huawei music. You can customize the UI and you can customize the UI. You can customize the UI. You can customize the UI. You can customize the UI.
The one with the p50 pockets got some exclusive and funky new features as well, including smart sunscreen detection, which would be useful for a pasty-skinned northerner like myself who singes
in mere seconds out in the sun, but apparently this is only available in select markets right now,
which is a bummer. Of course, flick open the warrior p50 pocket in that really excellent cool way
that I always do and you'll uncover inside a mighty 6.9 inch IPS LCD display. So those visuals
are nice and crisp and boy howdy, fantastic viewing angles on this thing as well as a nice poppy
punchy in your face colors as well as a nice poppy punchy in your face colors as well, although
you can choose between more standard and those more vivid hues to sort of suit your own tastes, as it were on the peak brightness levels as well, no issues with visibility when you want to venture outdoors and it's actually sunny, you've got reasonably skinny bezels surrounding that oled screen Of course, you've got all the usual display settings to play with, such as eye comfort mode and dark mode, and if we scroll down a little bit further, we've got the screen refresh rate setting, which is set to dynamic by default on the one with p50 pockets and can scale the refresh rate between 60 hertz and 120 hertz to either conserve power or give you a nice silky smooth experience when you're playing.
When you don't need those extremely fine images, reduce the res to save battery power. As for the audio, you've got a stereo speaker set up here on the Huawei P50 pocket, but is it actually any good?
Let's turn up the volume and see people we know in real life and drink obscene amounts of alcohol with them in pubs like we used to. First, even though this is a stereo setup, you'll notice that if you accidentally muffle this bottom speaker, the sound becomes a lot more tinny and the sound isn't evenly distributed between the two speakers. But that's not going to cut it if you're in a really noisy environment or whatever, so the audio's fine, but if you want to really enjoy a bit of video or music, you'll need to either dongle it or get some Bluetooth on the G.If the phone is folded up and hibernating, just tap your digits to the sensor again to wake up that external display, and you'll be able to check your notifications and play with all the widgets. Alternatively, the Huawei P50 pocket supports face recognition using its camera technology. Yes, it works with the external display to unlock it and gain
access to all of your widgets, and the facial recognition also works with the internal camera, so you have the option of 256 or 512 MB of storage. Internal storage in gigabytesAs you can see,
I have the 5 x 12 gig model, so it'll take me a while to fill it up, and you can even boost that if you
wish by inserting one of Huawei's own proprietary nm cards. Performance is provided by the
snapdragon 888 chipset, though it is the 4G variant rather than the fully 5 GFID version, so if you want a bit of 5G you'll have to look elsewhere, and that is backed up by either eight or twelve gigs of memory on the Huawei p50 pocket, and certainly the everyday experience is nice and smooth, and games like Asphalt 8 run smoothly.Perfectly super super smooth frame rates with no dips or drops whatsoever and thankfully even with the fair bit game and I did not notice the huawei p50 pocket starting to heat up the battery life seems pretty decent here on the huawei p50 pocket as well as sometimes it can be the death knell of foldables like the motorola razor absolutely terrible and usually dead by sort of late afternoon at the very latest but here on the barber p50 pocket it's got four When the battery
dies, no worries, there's 40 watt wired charging support. Unfortunately, there's no wireless charging support here on the p50 pockets. On the outside of the p50 pocket, there's a triple lens camera arrangement.
It has a 40 megapixel true chroma sensor, a 32 megapixel ultra spectrum lens, and a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle shooter, and it's your standard Huawei camera app once you load it up, though you can slightly bend the display as you can see to bring all of the main camera modes and features down to the bottom half, making it much easier to use one handed. You can also prop up the Huawei p50 if you see
fit.So far as I can tell, there's no way of sending a preview of whatever you're shooting to that little dinky external display, so your subject can't, you know, do their hair quickly strike the right paws, all of that unless that's a feature that I just can't find buried away here because there are a lot of different settings and features. However, if the one-way p50 pocket is all folded up Oh my goodness, serious bags under the eyes today, definitely more sleep, and the photo quality here on the huawei p50 pocket, while not quite as strong as the p50 pro, is still very strong indeed, even in low light environments, with plenty of detail packed in there and reasonably natural looking colors. Just make sure that if you're trying to shoot a live and breathing subject in low light, you use that instead of the internal selfie cam.
You also have a night mode to help with those low light shots, which is only really useful when you're dealing with a static subject, and this does make a real difference in terms of brightening up your shot and producing those more natural looking colors again. You also have a pro mode on here, which gives you full manual control over the iso.As you can see, there are more modes stuffed away in the more section, including the fluorescence mode, which as you can see is supposed to capture really vivid trippy images in dark conditions, although I gave it a go and I gotta say I just couldn't get it to work at all. It's probably just me being rubbish as usual. Don't forget to tell me how rubbish I am down in the comments and then for your home movie shenanigans, you can shoot a video at up to 4k resolution at either 30 or 60 frames per second.low-light situations Yeah, inside the huawei p50 pocket you have that 10 megapixel selfie cam up top as well as that little pinhole housing, but as it says, it's only really necessary if you're doing like skyping or something where the p50 pocket needs to be unfolded, otherwise you can just use that external cam just as easily to shoot your selfies and so that's the huawei p50 pocket premium in a nutshell.
