The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the greatest phone we've tested in the United Kingdom. 

The entire iPhone 13 series is fantastic (there are two more variants on this list), but the Pro Max model stands out thanks to its larger display, improved cameras, and the longest battery life of the bunch. Instead, we recommend the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra if you want the finest of Android. The Xiaomi Mi 11 and Oppo Find X3 Pro are also fantastic options, but the S21 Ultra outperforms the competition in terms of overall camera performance and software compatibility, as well as the ability to use Samsung's S Pen.Depending on how much money you want to spend, the One Plus Nord 2, Google Pixel 4a, and Redmi Note 10 Pro are the best cheap options. 

Despite their low prices, all of these offer some luxury features, so they'll still feel great to use.

Looking ahead to the rest of the year, a couple of phones are expected to shake up this list. 

As previously said, a new iPhone 13 is expected to be unveiled in September, and the Google Pixel 6 appears to be the first Google phone capable of unseating Samsung.

of hardware on a phone, Samsung's top flagship phone is as excellent as it gets. The S21 Ultra is a benchmark for how strong and flexible flagship phones should be, whether it's because of its changeable 120Hz QHD OLED display, 108MP main camera, dual telephoto cameras, or stylus compatibility.Unfortunately, with all of that technology, this is a large phone that won't fit everyone. Samsung, like Apple, made the unfortunate decision to remove the supplied charger from the S21 series' packaging, making full-speed charging more difficult.The Exynos 1200 is also used in the European 

version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It's comparable to the Snapdragon 888-based model, but the US

 version performs better. -There is no charger in the box. -Video features are limited.The iPhone 13 Pro 

doesn't quite reach the same heights as the iPhone 13 Pro Max due to the display and battery capacity  differences.Don't be misled, this iPhone still smashes most Android competitors under its feet, thanks to Apple's perfected blend of power and ease of use.The 6.1-inch 13 Pro still has a great display, great 

cameras, and an A15 Bionic CPU that's the same as the one in the iPhone 13 Pro Max. 

This capability allows the iPhone 13 Pro to outperform any Android phone in benchmark and real-world tests.However, keep an eye out for the lack of a charging brick in the package, since you may  require a different charger depending on your previous phone. Plus, Apple's new ProRes video

 option is only available if you buy an iPhone 13 Pro with 256GB of storage or more, which feels unfair to individuals who don't require the extra space.

Reasons to avoid: incredibly powerful specs for the price.

: Impressive macro camera+Stunning display-Normal photography is mediocre; there is no 

IP rating; and the battery is smaller.The Xiaomi Mi 11 has specs that are comparable

 to much more expensive Android flagships, making it one of the top phones in the United Kingdom. The display, which is as huge and detailed as the Galaxy S21 Ultra's and has a great variable

 refresh rate system on top, is the standout. Despite the fact that the battery is modest for

 a phone of this size, it charges at 55W wired and 50W wireless, which is faster than practically all  other competitors right now.While you hope you'd never have to test it, the Mi 11

 doesn't feature an official IP rating for water/dust resistance, unlike the premium phones it otherwise matches or beats for features. The Mi 11’s cameras are also a bit weak, although its 108MP main sensor still performs adequately, and its telemacro camera is one of the best ways of taking close-up shots on any phone.

With the Pixel 6 series, Google has made a significant leap forward, bringing its phones up to par with  its most successful competitors.While the Pixel 6 Pro has a sharper display and a second camera, the  Pixel 6 is a better value for money at £600.

Even at that unexpectedly low price, you get Google Tensor, the company's new in-house processor

 that enables fancy new capabilities like specialized image processing, on-device text and voice 

 translation, and increased device security.The lack of a telephoto camera and the 90Hz display (rather  than the smoother 120Hz) are two of the Pixel 6's flaws, but you can have these on the Pixel 6 Pro  instead.The lack of battery life, on the other hand, is more of a concern, so keep a charger on hand when taking the Pixel 6 out for a long day of activities.

Apple's basic iPhone 13 has many of the same features as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but costs £300 less. 

This contains the powerful A15 Bionic chipset with 5G capabilities and a dazzling OLED display, as well as a slight battery size increase that has improved the phone's battery life dramatically.Unfortunately, unlike its Pro brothers, the iPhone 13 lacks a 120Hz refresh rate, making it one of the only phones in 2021 with a refresh rate below 60Hz. Apple has also been frugal with the cameras, giving consumers

 only the main and ultrawide rear sensors this time around. Fortunately, they continued to take

 excellent photographs.The in-box charger, which is part of Apple's eco-friendly strategy, is also

 missing, which is difficult for users.However, because of an optimal combination of size, power, and  price, this is still the best iPhone for the vast majority of consumers.

High-quality cameras should be avoided for the following reasons:

 night mode photos, limited monochrome sensor, battery life that falls short of expectations.

With the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus has really stepped up its game. 

The addition of Hasselblad-tuned cameras has boosted an area of the OnePlus phone's arsenal

 that has been historically weak. OnePlus is now a legitimate candidate for one of the finest

 phones in the UK, thanks to some of the fastest wired and wireless charging available, as well as a  stunning QHD display with a configurable  120Hz refresh rate. Its inexpensive price— at least for 

a phone with these specifications — is also a significant selling point. 

Those upgraded cameras' low-light photographs still don't quite match the other shots. Furthermore, a monochrome camera does not provide the same level of value as a second telephoto  camera. into the phone, Xiaomi has exceeded everyone this year with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. 

The Mi 11 Ultra's 1.1-inch rear display, which can be used to check the time and alerts or as a mini-viewfinder for snapping images with one of three 48MP cameras, is the most notable of these features. 

The Mi 11 Ultra is a spec monster, with the same fantastic display as the Mi 11 and even faster 67W wied and wireless charging speeds.The Mi 11 Ultra costs as much as you'd expect for this much hardware,

 and the battery life suffers as a result of the average-sized cell powering a lot more stuff than a normal phone.Plus, due to its big size and lack of balance caused by the massive rear camera/display bulge, it's not a comfortable phone to handle. Regardless, the look on someone's face when you show off the Mi 11 Ultra's features is unbeatable.

No. 8 Oppo Find X3 Pro

A wonderful flagship replacement

 The gimmicky microscope lens design attracts dirt.

  

In comparison to the rest of the pack, Oppo's current top tier flagship does a number of things

differently. The Oppo Find X3 Pro display uses the same LTPO technology as the OnePlus 

9 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, but with a reduced minimum refresh rate to conserve battery life. 

For even more vibrant movie and photo viewing, the phone's display supports 10-bit color.

Oppo's phone has a unique unibody design that looks great (until you get fingerprints all over it) and supports 65W wired charging, making it one of the fastest charging phones on the  market. 

The Find X3's camera array includes a special microscope camera for stunning close-up photography, which, while less versatile than a traditional telephoto sensor, is one of the features that helps to distinguish this phone. If the more common features of other flagship Android 

phones don't appeal to you, the Find X3 Pro's more unusual features might be enough to persuade you  to buy it.

The Galaxy Note model from last year retains and improves the phablet's best features. 

The phone's defining feature, the S Pen, is more responsive than ever. 

However, Samsung has significantly enhanced the display, cameras, and battery life.

With a 6.9-inch display and a huge camera hump, this is a hefty phone. 

Plus, even for a Samsung flagship, it's pricey, especially if you want the higher storage capacity. 

However, given how much this phone crams into its body, you won't mind the size until you see how much work and pleasure you can get out of it.
